Fabric Covered Exhibition Stands

Although much of the focus of Ultra Board has been for use as an environmentally friendly print substrate, this example shows how the board can be used as a lightweight exhibition board, and fabric covered exhibition stands.

In this case, the client already had all their graphics and messaging printed and were looking for an exhibition stand on which to mount it all. There were many samples and brochures to be stored on the stand, with limited space available, so Ultra Board was proposed to create cupboard units.

The Ultra Board team at Dufaylite designed and built the units from 10mm Regular board incorporating double doors, all clad in velcro-friendly loop nylon. The worktops were covered in a woodgrain pattern vinyl with the edges finished in woodgrain effect push-on edge extrusion. Setting up for the exhibition was made less onerous for the end user, as Ultra Board weighs much less than melamine faced chipboard, which had been considered as an alternative.
